Looking for the lunch menu?

Walteria Elementary is completing its State testing this week. Want to support your 3rd, 4th, or 5th grader? Here are three very helpful things you can do for them:

  • Ensure that they get a good night's rest every night.
  • Have them eat a nutritious breakfast every morning.
  • Make sure that they are in attendance and on time each day of testing.

Don't miss this:

Our boys had their chance to show mom how special she was, now it is our girls' turn. Don't miss the Father-Daughter Dance, presented by the Walteria PTA. The event is scheduled for June 15th, so make sure to purchase your tickets early.

We are working on piecing together our Multicultural Family Night event. Don't miss the opportunity to represent your own culture or to simply experience other cultures that surround us! Click here for more information.

Want to show off your chili cooking skills? Join the chili cook-off during Walteria's Multicultural Family Night. Plan to come out May 31st for this great Walteria tradition.

Help us plan for the 2018-2019 school year. If you know you are moving  and not attending Walteria in the fall, please fill out this form and return it to the office. This will allow us to better plan for the following school year.

Thank you,

Dr. Ponce

Last Dinner Night of the Year!

Join us for the last dinner night of the year! Help the Walteria Academic Alliance, WAA, raise funds for technology at Walteria. Their hard work has helped us go 1:1 in 3rd through 5th grade classrooms. Now, they are working towards updating the Chromebooks in the K-2 group. Come out for great food and an even greater cause. Click here for the flyer.

Don't let the summer slide get your child!

Keep the academic gains your child has made during the school year, over the summer! Engage them with rich conversations, problem solving scenarios, and keep them reading. You can start with the Torrance Unified suggested reading list- click here
